Sharon is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist and a certified Clinical Neuropsychotherapist who has worked in a variety of community and private settings.
Sharon is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the International Association of Clinical Neuropsychotherapy.
Sharon uses a neuropsychotherapy framework to inform treatment where a number of modalities may be used including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, Trauma Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. To this end, Sharon uses both her clinical knowledge and practical approach to gain an understanding of each client and get alongside the client to collaboratively work towards their respective future goals or desired change.
Sharon’s clients would describe her as warm, supportive and empathic, whilst also gently challenging and empowering to enable the desired growth and/or change.
Sharon works with adults, including older adults, older children (12+), and couples.
