Kirra Caldwell, B.A.(Psych) Post.Grad.Dip.ED, Post.Grad.Dip.Psych., M.Psych.Clin., MAPS Clinical Psychologist

Kirra is an AHPRA endorsed clinical psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society with extensive experience in both private practice and mental health organisations.

Kirra works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with a diverse range of presentations and psychological problems.

Kirra’s is highly trained and experienced in utilising a wide range of assessment measures and therapeutic strategies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, Trauma Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

Kirra is also experienced in completing cognitive, educational, personality and social/emotional assessments. She has experience working within school settings and in developing individual learning plans, behaviour management plans and return to school plans. When working with adolescents and children, she understands the importance of developing rapport and maintaining confidentiality while incorporating wider supports in order to provide good quality outcomes and care.

Kirra’s approach to treatment is evidence based, client centred, flexible and approachable. Kirra has a gentle approach that provides support and understanding fostering lifelong learning and development.
